Reopen for business: 5 marketing considerations every business owner needs to know

Depending on your state, county, or phase – it may be time to reopen for business. The question that lingers on so many business owners’ minds – how do we get our customers back?

Simply said, reopen for business with awareness.

Since the dawn of marketing, it’s always been about consumer confidence:

  • Will the product work for me?
  • Will the experience be worth my money?
  • What’s my risk?

One of our favorite hospitality clients, Seabrook (a charming Washington coastal beach town) went tongue and cheek on their recent email campaign.

Subject line: Seabrook is ready for you
Opening text: Coast is Clear!

Simple, inviting imagery followed with a clear message:

Doesn’t that beach look inviting? (BRB, we’re packing right now…)

Queue fantastic headline that instills confidence: The ways we stand out

It goes on to detail six top of mind concerns of potential vacationers, and what they need to know before they book their trip. It highlights what people need right now – a healthy environment, fresh air, and an invitation to a slice of normalcy.

Just less than a week later, this email campaign was followed up with a fantastic piece on our local news with the founder of Seabrook – further detailing safety precautions and measures being taken to make this local getaway desirable and reopen for business:
